My mission is simple.
To provide loving care to as many as I can.

loving animals means loving all animals, not just the ones you share your home with.

A little about me...

I am a lifelong resident of Montclair and grew up in a home where animals were an important part of my family. As a child, my mother, a former manager of the Paws Animal Shelter, frequently bottle fed and fostered orphaned kittens, puppies and squirrels.

Today with a home of our own, my husband and I have three beloved rescue pups, aquatic frogs, and guinea pigs. I feel most myself when my clothes are covered in fur and I see a wagging tail. I believe in leading with love and compassion when it comes to all creatures.

I will provide all of your pets with the TLC that I give my own. I understand that it is difficult to find someone that you can trust to come into your home and do the job they say they will. This is why I do some things differently.

I send photos and updates from my visits, so that you are never left wondering. That way at the end of the day, you know what time I arrived, what time I left and what time you need to get home!

I will be the sole caretaker for your pet. You will never need to wonder who is coming into your home on any given day. It's just me.

I do not walk multiple dogs at once, unless they are your own. I believe in individualized care so that your dog has my total energy and focus. I can provide socialization with other dogs at your comfort level, or not at all. I know that all animals, like humans, have their own personalities and quirks that are deserving of attention and respect.

I WILL ALWAYS GIVE BACK. For the love of animals.

I named my company Sadie & Bow after my first two loves. Sadie was a squirrely chihuahua with missing teeth, soulful eyes and a bad attitude. Bowie is my fluffy little shadow, loyal and loud.
